What Size Hat should I order?
You may use your current hat size when ordering your new hat. If you have not purchased a hat before you may use the guidelines below to measure for the correct hat size.
If you need to determine your hat size, measure the widest part of your head using a cloth or flexible tape measure. Wrap the tape level and firm around the head at the temples and above the eyebrow ridges. Measure to the nearest 1/8 inch. A pice of string or ribbon will work well if you do not have access to a cloth or flexible tape measure. Wrap the string or ribbon around the head in the same manner, then mark or cut it to at the correct length. The string or ribbon may be laid out against a ruler to determine the head size in inches. It is a good rule to take the measurement two times to see that you obtain the same measurement twice. Once you have determined a head measurement, use the charts above to determine your hat size. For measurements that fall inbetween sizes, use the next size up.
